William Short, Head of M&A Cybersecurity, Aon
William Shortt is a Director of Aon’s Cyber M&A consulting practice and Head of M&A Cyber Strategy for Aon’s M&A and Transaction Solutions Group. He advises private equity firms and multinational corporations on their cyber security programs and investment strategies. William is a qualified English barrister (non-practicing) now based in Los Angeles, California. Prior to joining Aon, William was a Director of Stroz Friedberg, a cyber security consulting firm that Aon acquired in 2016. William has 11 years’ experience as an intelligence analyst and cyber security consultant advising clients on cross-border transactions in developed, emerging and frontier markets.

Matt co-founded the cyber security consultancy FusionX from 2010-2017. Matt was President & CEO of the Terrorism Research Center/Total Intel from 1996-2009.
