Bob Goldsmith

Mr. Goldsmith has advised hundreds of companies on issues relating to their sale, corporate growth, international expansion, and general strategy while working in the Advisory business.

Along with managing his own Advisory business serving clients in the US, the UK, and France, and covering industries as disparate as technology, biotech, and energy, prior to BCMS he organized and was a significant equity stake holder in the North American license of one of the leading European consumer products groups between 2002 and 2005.

He served as EVP and Chief Operating Officer of a $300 million revenue US apparel company, Tahari Ltd. from 2000 until 2002. Mr. Goldsmith was a Country Manager (division president) and Member of the Corporate Strategy Group for ContiGroup Companies working on commodity marketing, finance and industrial M&A transactions with a total value over $1billion between 1992 and 1999.

Mr. Goldsmith has worked in international marketing, trade, business management, and finance for over 20 years and has lived for extended periods in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and Romania, as well as the United States where he was born.

Mr. Goldsmith is a graduate of Hamilton College and has an MBA in Finance and International Business from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He was until recently a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and remains a Counsel Member of the Gerson Lehrman Group. Mr. Goldsmith resides in New York City
