Alan started his accounting career at a CPA firm and later moved into the private sector.  Alan has held several accounting executive positions such as corporate cash manager, budget manager, controller, CFO and general manager in large privately owned and public companies.  Alan founded Alan Neal & Associates, Inc. in 1983 to provide small and medium size businesses with the financial expertise that large businesses employ.  For 29 years he has been an accounting and business advisor to privately held companies in a variety of industries such as manufacturing, retail, distribution, real estate development, construction, health care, not-for-profit, professional service firms, and many other service companies. 

Alan’s strength is his ability to understand the entire business, its processes, systems and metrics from supplier to customer, how they are interrelated, and the impact they have on profitability and cash flow.  He automates the processes as much as possible, reducing the risk of error, making clients more efficient, profitable and valuable as a business.  The specialized services he provides include:  accounting, cash management, finance, virtual bookkeeping, controller and CFO services, corporate turnaournds, business valuations, mergers and acquisitions, tax services, strategic planning and preparing financing packages.
