George is a Managing Director of Founders Investment Banking specializing in Exit Advisory Services. He has over twenty years of experience managing technology and software companies and an extensive background working with firms ranging in size from small start-ups to the largest multi-national institutions. During his corporate career, George worked for SunGard Data Systems, an S&P 500 global software and services firm, which was one of the most acquisitive firms on Wall Street. He served as one of three executives for a $500 million division where he was responsible for strategic planning, acquisitions, sales, marketing, and product management. He also directly managed several hundred employees and a portfolio of a dozen companies generating over $125 million in recurring revenue. A former trust officer, George oversaw wealth management and investment software products that accounted each day for over $2 trillion in assets for high net worth individuals and institutional clients. As a key member of the division’s acquisition team, George was responsible for identifying and evaluating acquisition candidates and played instrumental roles in over ten strategic acquisitions ranging in size from a few million dollars to over $100 million. As an entreprenuer, George founded and led two technology services firms.

George received his M.B.A. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham as well as a Master of Science in Administration and Planning from the University of Tennessee. He actively supports the entrepreneurial business community and is the developer of Strategic Articulation, a strategic business-planning program.
