Calvin Hughes is the President and founder of Paladin CMS.  Paladin CMS focuses on M&A intermediation with a particular emphasis on the development and realization of strategic value for owners of companies in the middle market space.  Mr. Hughes' career experience spans a broad spectrum of industries and services including: strategic planning, corporate development, valuations, corporate finance, transition planning, exit, family & succession planning, market and feasibility studies, financial advisory & proforma modeling, conflict resolution & facilitation, Board of Directors training, ESOPs, acquisitions, divestitures and mergers. His academic credentials include undergraduate studies in political science and psychology, with graduate studies culminating with a Masters of Business Administration (finance) degree from the University of Calgary.  Professional designations and accreditations include: Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA), Certified Management Consultant (CMC), Licensed Broker-RECA, Member of CREA, Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), Member Appraisal Institute (MAI-ret.), Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI-ret.).  Concurrent with his career of intermediation and management consulting, Mr. Hughes has owned, directed and divested private businesses within his personal holdings.  Over 30 years of professional service, Mr. Hughes has established a reputation for honesty, integrity and valued dealings amongst a long and supportive client base.
